Leeds Career :
The signing of Bradley Clyde to replace Adrian Morley looked like a master stroke when the deal was originally struck for the 2001 season. However, Clyde was constantly plagued by ham string injuries and only made 15 appearances scoring four tries. Two of those tries came in a Challenge Cup Quarter Final win over Hull at the Boulevard. Clyde gave Leeds fans a glimpse of what could have been with a two try display as he ran the show. He retired from the game at the end of the 2001 season and returned to Australia.
Rugby Career :
Bradley Clyde was one of the greatest forwards in the Australian game. When he left Canberra he was fifth in the all-time appearances for the club with 178 games and 38 tries for the Raiders before signing for Canterbury in 1998. At the Bulldogs he made 35 appearances scoring nine tries and was rated as their player of the season in 1999.
Clyde is the only player ever to have been awarded the Clive Churchill Medal on two occasions as the man of the match in the Australian Grand Final. Firstly in 1989 when the Raiders beat Balmain to claim their first title. He has made 18 appearances for Australia.
