Leeds Career :
Sean Miller joined Leeds in 1976 and was part of a new wave of young players who were blooded in the side to bolster the team of legends that had grown up in the late 1960s and matured together throughout the next decade. He made his debut in difficult circumstances in a weakened side that lost at Workington, after Ian Payne had been transferred to New Hunslet. Inevitably, his appearances at Leeds were limited at Leeds over the next seven seasons as he battled it out with Gary Hetherington to be understudy to David Ward. However, his best season came in 1980-81 when he made 12 appearances in an injury ravaged season for the Loiners. He was part of the double Wembley winning squad in the late seventies without making the team.
