Leeds Career :
Leeds born, Ben Jones Bishop has been one of the star players in the Rhinos Academy since joining the club from his local amateur team. The high regard in which the Leeds coaches hold him was evident when he was elevated to the first team squad this season where he will further develop his game by training full time with the first team squad. Last season Ben made 19 appearances for the first team and registered 7 tries. He was part of the side who made it to the Academy Grand Final and ended his season with a place in the Carnegie Academy World Club Challenge when a Leeds U19 side took on their counterparts from Australian side Penrith Panthers.
Rugby Career :
Before he signed for the Rhinos Ben played for Queens, who he achieved a great success by capturing the National Cup, Yorkshire Cup, Leeds & District Cup and the league.
Personal Details :
Ben’s favourite film is Football Factory and his childhood hero was Jason Robinson. When his playing career is over he would like to own his own business and his greatest achievement to date is signing for Leeds.
